Best plastic surgeon in the area. I checked with other doctors before going to him and they said he was their top choice. Removed basal cell carcinoma and did an excellent job. Didn't try to upsell me on any scar revision, just excised the malignant area. No recurrences.

I was referred to Dr. Alspaugh by two friends that previously were his patients. I felt welcomed immediately when I came in for my consultation, by both the staff and Dr. Alspaugh. During my consultation, he was eager to answer any questions I had and address any concerns I had about the procedure. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I knew I made the right choice coming into his office. My pre-op was a little more chaotic, as there was a lot of paperwork to go over, but again both the staff and Dr. Alspaugh were will to answer any questions. Going in for my surgery two days ago, I was able to witness their carefully practiced routine for preparing for surgery. The nurse, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Alspaugh were great with ensuring I was comfortable and that I would be happy with my results. I don’t remember much in the actual OR, except my nurse gentling rubbing my arm until I feel asleep. I knew I was in good hands. When I woke up I felt a little groggy and nauseous, but with the medicines provided I was out of bed in no time. I never felt rushed to get out the door, and if I wasn’t eager to sleep at home I know could have stayed a while longer. Perhaps my favorite aspect so far is the phone call from Dr. Alspaugh the next day. I have never had a doctor do that and I truly appreciated it.

Dr. Alspaugh and Cheryl have been wonderful! Since having a series of three surgeries to correct my eyes and face that were damaged from an infection many years ago I am so very pleased with the results. I have more confidence in my appearance and now I don't "duck out"when pictures are taken!

If you are considering plastic surgery, I highly recommend that you schedule your first consultation with Dr. John Alspaugh. I'm thrilled with the results of my surgery, and I can't imagine another surgeon doing a better job. He and his nurse Cheryl will take the time to listen to you and also to talk to you so that your expectations and your results match. The entire process from beginning to end was as relaxing and joyful as they could make it.

Dr. Alspaugh and his staff especially Nurse Patty were wonderfully attentive and comforting. I was so neevous about everything but in the end I'm happy I chose to stay locally vs going.out of the country. I was considering going to Toronto, but after being told to lose 25 lbs, even though I'm a size 7 I decided to look elsewhere. After a trusted recommendation I'm happy so far with my results!

Dr. Alspaugh recently performed my upper blepharoplasty and brow lift Dr. Alspaugh greatly exceeded my already high expectations! He was incredibly patient. He offered his recommendations and explained, in great detail, why he recommended the type of procedure. I asked a lot of questions, which he encouraged, and gave detailed answers and made sure that I was comfortable before moving onto the next question. As a result, going into surgery, I was completely comfortable and confident that he would do a great job. But the results are so much better than I expected. I have scheduled to have additional surgery with Dr. Alspaugh and continue to recommend him to my family and friends. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
